Before scheduling an appointment, students should visit the to learn about the various programs available or attend one of the General Information sessions listed below.

Drop-in advising is available Monday through Thursday, 1:15 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in 101 McGregory starting the first week of October.

We recommend that students initially start by meeting with a Peer Advisor, a great way for students to get general program and expense information from a student who recently studied off campus. Hi! I'm Alexa. I am a senior majoring in environmental studies and minoring in biology and global public environmental health. In the Spring of 2024, I studied abroad in Zanzibar, Tanzania, with a SIT program. During this time, I studied coastal ecology and natural resources management.

Hi! My name is Isma. I'm a senior majoring in Molecular Biology and minoring in Global Public and Environmental Health. During the spring of my sophomore year, I took part in an extended study to Uganda researching public health related issues. For the fall of 2023, I was part of a study group in Cape Town, South Africa, and then spent the spring semester in Switzerland through an approved program focusing on global health policy. I am happy to discuss any opportunities you might be interested in, my own experiences studying abroad, and any other questions you may have!
